Pickleball Tournament and Silent Auction Fundraiser Join us Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. for a Pickleball Tournament and Silent Auction Fundraiser benefiting Team MO-KAN in celebration of National Donate Life Month and organ, eye and tissue donation awareness, hosted at Chicken N Pickle. There is no need to know how to play pickleball in order to participate! Simply come ready to learn and have a great time while raising awareness for organ, eye and tissue donation and a little money to benefit members of Team MO-KAN participating in the Donate Life Transplant Games of America in the Meadowlands, N.J. in July of 2021. Find a partner and register as a team of two (doubles); a total of twenty-four teams will be allowed for an hour of round-robin play before tournament play begins. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. In addition, take part in the 50/50 raffle and Silent Auction. 100% of your registration fee goes directly to Team MO-KAN as well as all of the proceeds from the Silent Auction and 10% of all food and beverage sales during the event! Please note, you must register to play by Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 5 p.m. ---- Team MO-KAN is a community of organ, eye and tissue transplant recipients, living donors, donor families, supporters, transplant professionals and those awaiting transplantation across the states of Kansas and Missouri. Our mission is to raise awareness of the life-saving importance of organ, corneal and tissue donation through the lives of our donor families, living donors, and organ, eye and tissue recipients and those awaiting transplantation in the states of Kansas and Missouri. To increase the number of individuals registering to be organ, eye and tissue donors in Kansas and Missouri by participating in local and regional awareness events promoting organ, eye and tissue donation.
