Seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a leading global manufacturing company centrally located in Kapolei! This position is responsible for installation, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repair of containerboard plant machinery and equipment machinery. If you have at least two years of recent mechanical machinery experience, we want to hear from you! (808) 488-1910 Hours Full-time, 7:00am-3:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm Location Campbell Industrial Park, Kapolei, Oahu Pay $26 to $30 an hour Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repair on factory equipment, which includes steel rolls, sliter blades, belts and cutters. Set up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, band saw, milling machine, welder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. Install or adjust special functional and structural parts in devices. Handle movement/positioning/replacement of heavy weight equipment with the aid of mechanical means such as forklifts, pry bars, and chain falls. Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as conveyors and programmable controllers. Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replace damaged or broken wire and cables. Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards. Replace electric motor bearings and rewire motors. Plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings. Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Qualifications Must have 2-3 years of recent verifiable machinery mechanic experience. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Reliable work ethic. Interested?
