Local family-owned meatpacking business is looking for a full-time Helper! This role will assist in the slaughterhouse to remove bone and cut meat into standard cuts in preparation for packaging. (808)935-6899 Hours Full-time, Schedule varies between 5:00am-6:00pm Location Hilo, Big Island Pay $12 to $15 an hour Responsibilities Slaughter animals in accordance with company standards. Trim, clean, and cure meat. Ensure meat preparation meets all required sanitation laws. Follow all equipment and clothing safety measures. Assist with meatpacking, making lau lau, kalua pig etc. Tend assembly lines and perform other duties as needed. Qualifications Must have slaughterhouse or hunting experience. Valid driver's license.
