I went to Jersey Mike's for lunch on November 9, 2021. When I got there, I happened to arrive at the door at the same moment as an attractive woman, looked to be in her 20s. She opened the door, and held it open for me, since I was headed in right after, and then we both got in line.
I think, because we walked in together, the employees may have thought that we were together. One of them referred to us as "you guys", as if we were a group.
I didn't say anything; I didn't stop to correct him because it seemed awkward. I didn't want to stop him and say, "Hey, actually, we're not together", because if it turned out I was wrong, and I was misreading the situation, and the employee wasn't actually thinking that, then I would look like a weirdo.
If you were at the Jersey Mike's on University near Rouse Rd at about 1:15 p.m. on November 9, and this sounds like you, I don't know if you felt I should have spoken up, but I'm sorry if you were made uncomfortable, and I hope you have a good day!
