Arts & Cultural Alliance of Freeport presents the Portland Trumpet Ensemble at Meetinghouse Arts during Freeport's Sparkle Weekend! Arts & Cultural Alliance of Freeport is proud to present the Portland Trumpet Ensemble at Meetinghouse Arts during Freeport's Sparkle Weekend. The Portland Trumpet Ensemble was founded in 2016 and features some of the best trumpeters in Maine. Members are graduates of music schools across the country. In addition to frequent solo performances, they have performed with the Portland, Bangor, and Midcoast Symphony Orchestras, the Reading and Harrisburg (PA) Symphony Orchestras, the Philadelphia Brass Quintet, the Mainstreet Brass Quintet, the Casco Bay Wind Ensemble, the 207 Wind Ensemble, and many other musical organizations throughout Maine and the Northeast.
