Nicoletta's Table is excited to bring back our wine dinners. We pair our food with wines from our favorite winemakers and distributors.
This month we are featuring wines from Strade Bianche and Andrea Matteini is coming directly from Italy to educate us on these rare and delicious wines. In 2019 Andrea teamed up with Bobby Barnett and Jeremy Cobb from Oregon to form Strade Bianche Wines. Andrea is now the wine buyer and portfolio manager of Strade Bianche Wines. Matteini was born and raised in Montepulciano, surrounded by the vineyards of the Tuscan countryside. His passion for food and wine stemmed from his family's restaurant. It was here that he initially found his passion for flavors and aromas. In 2009 Andrea became the youngest Sommelier in Tuscany then went on to acquire a Masters in Marketing and Communication of wine at ALMA, Scuola Internazionale di Cucina in Parma.
