Bishop Mays Inc. is looking to hire a service technician. This a a full time position, working a Monday-Friday work week. Competitive pay based on experience. Responsibilities include: -Metal fabrication work/welding -Complete preventative maintenance/service on class 3-8 trucks -Minor repair work on class 3-8 trucks -Minor repair work on heavy equipment -Brake jobs -Material delivery to job sites Requirements: -Good driving record -Drug-free -Legally eligible to work in the US -Must be detail oriented and thorough -Must be accountable for conduct and have excellent attendance -Capable of working at a sustained pace and producing quality work Benefits: -Competitive wages based on experience and qualifications -Health insurance -Vacation pay -Holiday pay -401K with matching program -Work clothing allowance -Opportunity to grow and move up in the company Work Environment: -Routinely lift 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds -Must be able to climb in and out of truck unassisted -Must be able to stand, walk on uneven surfaces, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull
