Job description: Bode Equipment Company is a turn-key distributor of materials handling systems, construction, and loading dock and door solutions. We have been serving the New England area since 1975 offering design, layout, sales, installation, and service to commercial and industrial accounts. We have multiple entry level and experienced level openings for a mechanically inclined individual to work full time in our service department as a field installation / service technician. The positions are based out of our Marlborough, MA and Londonderry, NH locations with daily travel to customer’s sites all over New England and periodic overnight travel requested. Job Responsibilities: · Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience · Evaluate and diagnose technical problems and determine proper repair/solutions · Perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance service to doors, dock equipment and various other material handling equipment · Operate vehicle in a safe manner · Build positive relationships with customers by providing outstanding and excellent service · Comply with company safety procedures Requirements: · Professional demeanor in all customer and company encounters · Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting · Self-motivated, team player, with ability to work with minimal supervision · Dependable, excellent attendance and punctual time record · Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record · Strong communication skills · Able to stand for hours at a time and climb ladders, comfortable with heights · Proficient using power tools and hand tools · Technical degree or certification a plus · Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen We are New England’s leading Material Handling Company with two locations that have been in business for decades. Our working hours may vary but are typically Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm.
