Customize Campus District is a neighborhood augmented reality (AR) installation Customize Campus District is an augmented reality (AR) installation in the neighborhood. It is a collection of five locations throughout the Campus District that will be altered using AR. Three sites include original artwork from local artists and the remaining two sites host effects created by CleAR Experiences. Users can tour these sites using the Campus District Inc. website, and applications like Facebook and Instagram. The intention of the installation is to expose users to ways our public landscape can be improved to better serve the people who spend time there. AR graphics allow users to engage directly with the sites in person or in the comfort of their own homes. Additionally, Campus District Inc. staff are leading in-person walking tours of the sites that guide participants through the AR experience.
