Beginners welcome! We'll walk on a mostly flat surface of gravel around the meadow and then out to Blacks Nook and back. We'll meet at 8:30am outside the entrace on Concord ave across from Wheeler st. There is some street parking on Wheeler st as well as lot parking for Cambridge residents at Cambridge Water Department. Access by public transit 74 and 78 stop on Concord ave at Wheeler street, .6 mile walk from Alewife station or bike! We'll split into two groups, making a loop around Lusitania field on a mostly flat surface and then to Blacks Nook. The total distance is about 1-1.5 miles with benches along the way for rests, if needed. Restrooms are available at Cambridge water district .3 miles from the meeting spot. I will have 2 extra pairs of binoculars for those who need them, please feel free to bring extras to share if you have them!
