Darryl's Corner Bar & Kitchen hosting the DLA Thanksgiving Benefit for the Scholars of the Helen Y. Davis Leadership Academy! Darryl's Corner Bar & Kitchen hosting the DLA Thanksgiving Benefit for the Scholars of the Helen Y. Davis Leadership Academy as they prepare for their Spring HBCU Tour Grades 6-8. The mission of Helen Y. Davis Leadership Academy Charter Public School is to develop high achieving students of good character who use problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills to inspire others and to catalyze educational, economic and political advancement within their communities and the broader nation. With pushing the mission, it is important that our scholars are exposed to college readiness upon arrival in 6th Grade. We plan to tour our Scholars to the AUC (Spelman, Morehouse, Clark Atlanta, Morris Brown) and give them a week long college exploratory experience. All proceeds will support this goal!
