I wanted to let you know that my dog did not make it. His injuries were too extensive and I made the decision to have him put to sleep. He died peacefully in my lap while I cuddled him. Today has now become the most difficult day of my life. I loved him so very much and miss him terribly already. It hurts so much because he wasn't ready to go and I wasn't ready to say goodbye. I found him as a stray and had seven years with him in my life. He was such a unique dog with incredible amounts of personality, loved by everyone who ever met him. I cannot explain the sense of loss I feel, the emptiness. It is truly devastating. I just wanted to thank you for stopping and thank you for your compassion. It is greatly appreciated.
