Description

Free Dance Party Featuring Mambo Loco. All guests must be vaccinated to attend. OLA takes its popular signature cultural event, Pachanga, to the North Fork! Theme: OLA’s Greenport Pachanga 2021 “Visión y Acción/Vision and Action” Featuring live Salsa/Mambo Latin music by local favorite, Mambo Loco. “We are excited about bringing OLA’s Pachanga, which we’ve been holding for years in Southampton Town, to the North Fork,” says Minerva Perez, executive director of OLA of Eastern Long Island. “We’ve been engaging with amazing partners and tremendous community members on the North Fork for years. It’s time to celebrate all the great work we’ve been collectively involved in, especially this year on COVID vaccine sites. Our Pachanga event encourages all who love to dance or just love music to come together to share a laugh and a pupusa and to remember we are all part of one incredible community. Of course, we are calling all the salsa dancers to come out and dance to Mambo Loco’s dynamic live music. What better way to spend a Saturday night than in the village of Greenport at OLA’s free event?” OLA is working to secure a healthier, safer, and more equitable East End for all. During the pandemic, OLA has been operating COVID vaccination sites on both East End forks in partnership with local hospitals, including Greenport’s Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital, Riverhead and Southold houses of worship, and North Fork businesses. Tikal 1 restaurant in Greenport will provide delicious pupusas to purchase. Please reserve your free tickets at Eventbrite xxxxxxx When: Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 6-9 pm Where: Greenport American Legion 102 3rd Street Greenport, NY Only vaccinated community members will be admitted.
