Serán is looking for a highly motivated Facility Custodian to join our team. This person will be responsible for maintaining the company standards of cleanliness within accessible areas of multiple facilities throughout daytime hours of operation. This will include typical custodial tasks such as floor and surface cleaning and dispensing of waste receptacles, in addition to other maintenance tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager. Duties/Responsibilities: Working with the Facilities team, the Facility Custodian will perform daily maintenance tasks that ensure that various buildings are exceptionally clean and organized. These tasks include, but are not limited to: • Cleaning of floors in laboratory, production, and office spaces. • Emptying waste and recycling containers. • Disinfecting, cleaning, and maintaining restrooms, kitchens, and common areas. • Conducting inventory of necessary supplies. • Other scheduled facility maintenance tasks. • Occasional evening or weekend hours may be requested. This role requires an individual with high standards of cleanliness who is respectful of business operations. Ideal for someone who is self-motivated and takes pride in their work and contributing to a team. Friendly disposition with a desire to stay busy and productive. High School diploma, or equivalent, is preferred, along with custodial or janitorial certification from an authorizing agency. Facility Custodian requires the ability to lift 25 pounds and perform moderate physical activity or prolonged periods of standing and walking for the duration of 1-2 hours with minimal rest.
