The First Annual 11 Eleven Creative Fund is ceremony dedicated to furthering the reach of independent filmmakers The First Annual 11 Eleven Creative Fund is an event dedicated to furthering the reach of filmmakers who have found previous success in other notable film festivals committed to African American storytelling. After reading IndieWire’s report that 40% of films produced never experience a theatrical release, creator and launched by Kamau Talbott to become the the indie creator’s festival. Over the span of four days, 11 Eleven TV & Film Awards will screen 20 films at The Miracle Theater nestled in the heart of Inglewood, California and The Plaza Theatre in Atlanta, GA. In an effort to support the spirit and encourage the efforts of content creators everywhere, this festival will give filmmakers an additional opportunity to have their films screened in theaters and viewed digitally to maximize audience reach.
