There will be great presentations (and prizes) from Northeast Mountaineering, Andrew Drummond of Ski The Whites, Mike Girard of Jones Snowboards and Mammut, Zach McCarthy from Inclusive Ski Touring; plus additional raffle prizes, knowledge and hands-on gear demos with expert reps from Blizzard Ski, Nordica, Sidas and Therm-ic, as well as an exciting film premiere. The goals of this event are: to expose new (and existing) backcountry participants to the knowledge and gear they will need to safely explore avalanche terrain; to learn about upcoming events and on-snow demo opportunities in New England; to make local connections and meet new potential backcountry partners; to touch, feel and test the industry's best equipment, with experts on hand to answer your questions; to raise funds for Inclusive Ski Touring; and to get FIRED UP for winter! In the raffle, you can win handsomely: 10 free Mt Abram lift tickets, 5 Killington Resort tickets, Mammut Barryvox beacon and Nirvana pack, Nordica ski boots, Blizzard skis, Jones Shralpinist Gore-Tex PRO Jacket, Jones DSCNT backpack, Sidas Therm-ic heated gloves and socks, AIARE courses and guided ski touring / splitboarding from Northeast Mountaineering, Sierra Nevada gear... and lots more!
