It's been a minute since we last got together. And we miss you. Let's meet up IRL and celebrate our Tech Omaha community. It's been hard these past couple of years to only see your bright shining faces over Zoom. So we're bringing back one of our favorite traditions this time of year: the Tech Omaha Happy Hour! Join us December 8 at Slowdown for free drinks, free food, and free community. "Ok, this sounds fun. But COVID is still a thing." - you, probably You're right. We're excited to catch up with each and every one of you, but the health of all of our community members is the highest priority. Following the successful rollout of even larger events in the area and around the world, our organizing team feel confident hosting this event with the requirement that all attendees are either fully vaccinated or have received a negative COVID test within the prior 3 days. COVID-19 Policy All attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within the prior 3 days. Proof of identification in the form of a driver's license or government issued photo identification must accompany either proof of vaccination status or negative test. Acceptable proof of a COVID-19 vaccination includes a CDC vaccination card, a photocopy of the card or a photo of the card on a mobile device. Cardholders must be at least two weeks past receiving their first dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or the second dose in a two-dose series vaccine (e.g. Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna). Vaccines administered internationally must be on the WHO emergency use listing to be accepted. For those who cannot provide proof of vaccination, documentation of a negative test taken within three days of the event will also be accepted. The test must be a SARS-CoV-2 viral test with Emergency Use Authorization from the US FDA. Even if you meet the above requirements, we do ask you to please not attend if you have symptoms of COVID-19, have tested positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days before the event, are awaiting a COVID-19 test, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the 14 days before the event.
