Secluded among coastal redwoods just inland from the shores of Monterey Bay south of Santa Cruz, Monte Toyon is an inviting and versatile camp. Step away from the busyness of your daily routine and partake in quality time with your family and other young, Jewish families. Rekindle the Jewish spirit, as you enjoy songs, stories and rituals—all alongside old and new Jewish family friends. We'll begin on Friday afternoon at 5:00 PM and welcome Shabbat camp-style, with a lively, kid-friendly family service and Shabbat dinner. On Saturday, after another kid-friendly Shabbat experience, we'll enjoy crafts, sports and parallel learning sessions for parents and children through hands-on workshops and gardening. We will spend time outside playing ball, climbing, conquering a ropes course and hiking. There will be different activities for children with our superstar staff while parents enjoy some social time together. The whole family will enjoy s'mores, a sing-along and stargazing by the campfire. We'll say our goodbyes at 2:00 PM on Sunday.
