Georgia Plastic Foundation hosts an annual fundraising event to support international surgical missions. For over 10 years, world renowned Double Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Stanley Okoro, founding physician at Georgia Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, has traveled throughout the year providing life changing medical care to underprivileged citizens in his native country Nigeria. Many of those whom the medical mission serves, do not have access to any medical care they both need and deserve. Through the initiative 'The Georgia Plastic Foundation' a 501 (c) charitable non-profit organization, Georgia Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery has been giving back to the global community through out-patient clinics and educational lectures. Hundreds of people are benefiting from the free surgical and medical care. Georgia Plastic Foundation is a 501 (c) charitable non-profit organization founded by Dr. Stanley Okoro, an internationally renowned Plastic Surgeon & philanthropist. A portion of our practice, Georgia Plastic’s profits are donated to the foundation for charity purposes.  The mission of the foundation is to provide access to excellent surgical care to those in need. We do this with a Vision to collaborate with other organizations to provide medical and surgical education, training, technology in the communities which are underserved around the world. Since 2005, Dr. Okoro and his team have delivered free surgical and medical care in the form of community health, out-patient care clinics, and professional and educational lectures. The team work in collaboration with other medical professionals and perform surgeries, provide critical and primary care, eye care, dispense eye glasses, medication, and provide health education to the disadvantaged & forgotten. All donations are applied to the mission of the foundation.  The foundation have no administrative fees as we work as volunteers.
