It’s a holiday event that’s fun for the whole family. Tour the Ely House (historical society headquarters) Wander through the rooms of the Ely House and see how people lived in the late 1800s/early 1900s. A guide will be on hand to answer questions. Make Your Own Ornament Craft While you tour the house, your kids can make their own ornaments. Supervision will be provided. Screening of Our Holiday Special What do you get for the guy who has everything? It’s Christmas Eve and one elf wants to get Santa Claus a gift… but what? Find out in A Gift for Santa, a holiday musical special starring young people from the area (see the trailer below). A Visit From Santa Claus! I mean, it’s not a holiday event unless the big man makes an appearance! The Society researches and preserves the history of the area in Hightstown, New Jersey.  We provide resources to the community, a quarterly informative newsletter, a website and a meeting space in the relocated freight station.
