Description

I have a small studio space in town and want to collab with local musicians to piece together some tracks for a free form album. The idea is to start with drums, then bass, guitar and end with vocals, using takes from whoever responds to this ad without having them interface, interact or communicate until its all getting put together... something like renga, but stacked vertically instead of linearly. I have gear and recording equipment, so anyone who's interested needs only to contact me, work out whatever minor details there may be and schedule some time to record. There is no preference or expectation for genre, style or tempo, just an attempt at illuminating the underlying psyche of local creatives for the sole purpose of collaboration, creation and catharsis. Whatever we create can be shared track by track for personal use if that's something you're interested in working with outside of the main project.
