We are looking for a reliable, hardworking person to drive/deliver our products to farmers markets in Santa Cruz County and the Bay Area on Sundays! Our company, La Vie, is the largest farmers market drink vendor in California serving the healthiest, purest and most delicious foods and drinks. We are looking for someone to deliver our products to the fun atmosphere of farmers markets and spread wellness and healthy living to the community. We make high quality drinks and we need high quality people to get this mission accomplished. This job will be great if you: - Are an early morning riser and like to get the day started! - Love the farmers market scene - Have things to do during the break (school work/online courses/play music, or just napping :-) ) - Like to work for a small business with a healthy mission - Like to work with conscious and healthy people - Have an experience of driving 16 foot truck and has some mechanical knowledge is a plus - Lives in Watsonville or nearby This transportation position is an integral part of our growth as a small business by delivering to our farmers market locations in the Bay Area and supplying products to some retail vendors. We are looking for someone interested in long term employment with a clean driving record, experience driving commercially, and a great attitude. In the past this job has been perfect for students who can study between shifts or for those who like to be surrounded by a fun, busy and healthy environment such as farmers markets and can do something of their own between shifts. What the job entails: - Leaving our location in Watsonville at 4:30AM dropping off at farmers market locations. You should end by 8:00 AM - Break between 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Off the clock) - Start again from 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM Requirements: - experience driving commercially - great driving record (please bring your driving record upon the interview) - ability to follow directions - knowledge of the Bay Area is a plus - ability to carry (mostly dragging) at least 100 pounds of weight - detail oriented and prompt (arrives on time) - drug and alcohol free *Reliable, Dependable and Prompt are critical!* *Training rates apply for this position* You will be learning to load and unload first.
