Jay Burgess, Caleb Elliott, and Rob Aldridge In The Round Tour at The Sanctuary In Montgomery, AL. Rob Aldridge, frontman for Rob Aldridge & The Proponents, will join Jay Burgess and Caleb Elliott for a special 'In the Round' performance in Montgomery, AL at The Sanctuary on November 19th. In the tradition of Drive-By Truckers, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, and Alabama Shakes, Rob Aldridge & The Proponents are an Alabama rock & roll band you need to know. In fact, the band spent part of 2021 opening for Americana star Jason Isbell at his Alabama shows. In addition to his work with The Proponents, Aldridge's solo work has allowed him to grow as an artist. His gifts as a singer and songwriter make him sound like a natural, but he’s put in the hours. He’s been gigging since he was 13 or so. In 2015, he dropped his first true solo album Anything & Everyone which he cut at Muscle Shoals’ iconic FAME Studios. Beth and Johnny of Electric Blue Yonder will be opening the evening as hosts with a selection from their latest album, "Mournings Sounds," released September 29th, 2021.
