Description

Under the supervision of the Order Manager, the Assistant to the Order Manager exercises independent decision making and judgment to set priorities and schedules for the warehouse, order fulfillment, and order tracking functions. • Manages warehouse functions by developing and maintaining new processes and procedures to improve product availability and shipping accuracy • Uses NetSuite ERP system to maximize stock availability and product flow to customers • Prepares quotes, develops sales orders and invoices for the sales and rental functions • Communicates with customers and vendors to resolve any issues • Receives and stocks incoming goods from vendors and places/sorts this into appropriate bins/shelves • Enters incoming goods from vendors into the ERP system • Picks, packs, and ships orders, as required • Tests and troubleshoots returned rental equipment for damage and returns to warehouse storage • Calibrates sensors and makes necessary adjustments to electronic systems • May make light repairs to electronic components, as needed • Travels domestically to provide product and customer support, as needed • May locally drop ship sold or rented equipment on an occasional basis • May procure inventory from local vendors • Maintains a clean and orderly workplace and storage areas Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Ability to use MS office • Ability to multitask and set priorities with changing job demands • Ability to pick, pack, and ship electronic equipment • Ability to travel domestically to review product application and development and customer environments Experience • 2-3 years of experience using NetSuite ERP systems in a shipping and receiving environment • 2-3 years of experience shipping and receiving electronic inventory preferred
