NEW YORK CITY — A wild shooting over tips at a Queens karaoke bar led to an off-duty NYPD sergeant facing criminal charges, according to reports.
Raymond Wong, 45, faces two assault counts after being arrested Monday, authorities said.
The incident unfolded at a karaoke bar in Flushing's Chinatown, the New York Daily News first reported.
A woman — who may have been involved in prostitution — complained that three men refused to tip her, according to the Daily News. Wong at some point got involved and got into a violent scuffle inside a private room, the report states.
He pulled his gun and shot at least three times when he was assaulted, the Daily News reported. No one was hit during the fracas, the report states.
