Connect with other guardianship/adoptive families in Blue Mounds! Adoptive and guardianship families, bring the family for a winter hike at beautiful Blue Mound State Park! This event includes an Annual Wisconsin State Park Vehicle Admission Sticker ($28 value!), good for all of 2021 at all Wisconsin state parks, forests, and recreation areas. Each family member attending will also receive a take-home goody bag filled with a winter craft kit and the fixings for hot chocolate. Sign up for an arrival time slot, then simply meet us at the park entrance -- we'll give you your vehicle sticker, trail maps, and goody bags and send you on your way! About Blue Mound State Park: Perched atop the highest point in southern Wisconsin, Blue Mound State Park offers spectacular views, unique geological features, and over 20 miles of scenic hiking and cross-country ski trails. There is also a sledding hill. Hiking and snowshoeing are allowed anywhere in the park except on cross-country ski trails. (A state trail pass is required for cross country skiers over age 16.)
