PRINCETON, NJ — A day after two people died following a car crash that involved stolen vehicles, car thieves returned to Princeton on Monday night, police said. Princeton police said a couple of car burglaries were reported, but none were stolen, just entered. PlanetPrinceton.com reported that car thieves came back to the Littlebrook neighborhood and stole a car from a dealership. However, Princeton Police said the car that was stolen from a dealership was not in Princeton. It is not immediately clear if the individuals are in any way connected with the teens involved in Sunday's crash. A 15-year-old Newark teen and a 61-year-old Kendall Park woman were killed Sunday following a head-on collision that took place after the teen driver had stolen the vehicle they were driving from a Princeton neighborhood, police said. Police have not identified the 15-year-old who was behind the wheel of a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was stolen from Pequannock Township Sunday afternoon. Police said that the teen crossed a double yellow line and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by South Brunswick resident Jodi Marcou, 61. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Princeton Police Department and Traffic Safety bureau supervisor Sgt. Thomas Murray at (609) 921-2100 ext. 1879.
