WATSONVILLE, CA — Save the date! Watsonville's 2021 Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony is less than two weeks away. The 28-foot live tree was delivered Friday and erected in the Watsonville City Plaza, where the event will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21. Guests can expect a welcome address from Mayor Jimmy Dutra, convocation and performance. Rumor has it that a special ho- ho- ho-liday guest dressed in red will also swing by the tree lighting event.
