NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A man was shot and killed Sunday night in New Brunswick, according to New Brunswick Police and the Middlesex County Prosecutor. At 9:55 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the area of Seamen Street and Remsen Avenue following the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located Rafael Florez-Lopez, 39, of New Brunswick and another man who sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to a nearby hospital where Florez-Lopez died of his injuries.
