SANTA MONICA, CA — An ocean water use warning is underway for several Los Angeles beaches, including Santa Monica beaches, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health announced Tuesday night. "The warning has been issued due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested," public health officials said. Swimmers and surfers were cautioned before visiting the following beaches: Pico-Kenter Storm Drain in Santa Monica.
