Foul Play Suspected In Death Of Local Couple

By John Gibson, WNIN November 9, 2021 Indiana State Police and Mt. Vernon Police are investigating the death of a Mt. Vernon couple. Authorities have identified the victims as 74-year-old John Hall and 74-year-old Elizabeth Hall. They were found deceased in their home at 727 Mulberry St. in Mt. Vernon on Saturday, In a release, the ISP said detectives observed signs of foul play and are treating their deaths as a homicide. The cause of their deaths has not been released. Anyone with information regarding the deaths of John and Elizabeth Hall is urged to contact Indiana State Police or Mt. Vernon Police. The ISP says anyone with information can remain anonymous.
