I play with a few projects around town, my true love is blues. I play blues piano/organ and blues harmonica at a pretty high level. I also play competent rhythm guitar.
Looking to build a 4 or 5 piece group.. guitarist (preferably with slide experience), rhythm section, and vocalist (if that's not covered). I don't care about age, gender, race, etc. Just looking for good people who love the blues and can really play.
I'm not looking for weekend warriors who want to play sloppy bar-blues, I'm looking to form a legit 'best of Charleston' blues band. I'm not implying that I want to go on tour either, just that I'm looking for semi-pro, legit, seasoned musicians.
Style of blues? Varied? This won't be a strictly Delta, Memphis, or Texas style, but perhaps an updated take on all 3. Not a guitar god band, not looking to put myself up front on Harmonica solo on every song either.
Have practice space in Mt P (garage).
Also have some originals, and encourage others to bring, wouldn't mind mixing in a few original blues songs with the sets.
