COVID-19 Case Totals In Bucks County: See Latest Trends

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — COVID-19 cases were up and hospitalizations had plateaued in Bucks County last week, according to a report from the local health department. On Friday, the Bucks County Department of Health reported 740 positive cases in the area between Oct. 28 and Nov. 4, up 113 from the prior week. Of those, 102 cases were in children 11 and under, and 57 were in those aged 12 to 18. Thirteen people died of COVID-19 in that period, the health department said, seven of which were delayed reports. The county also provided a snapshot of hospitalizations and patients on ventilators on Friday. Seventy-one people were hospitalized for COVID-19, the same number as the prior week. The total number of people on ventilators had increased by eight, for a total of 12. Vaccinated residents numbered 347,053 as of Friday, according to the county health department.
