CLEVELAND — Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.
Backup running back Demetric Felton also tested positive for the virus. Both players are vaccinated, ESPN reported. That means they'll need two negative COVID-19 tests, at least 24 hours apart, before they're cleared to play.
The Browns are set to play the New England Patriots on Sunday.

A third Browns running back, John Kelly, hit the COVID-19 reserve list on Monday. Kareem Hunt is out hurt, leaving Cleveland with a single running back, D'ernest Johnson. Johnson is vaccinated, ESPN noted.
The Browns smashed their division rival the Cincinnati Bengals over the weekend, effectively sealing the win before halftime. Cleveland was seemingly gaining momentum and cohesion but could be derailed by the loss of one of their stars, Chubb.
