PHOENIX, AZ — A man and a woman were killed in Phoenix Monday morning in a double shooting, according to Phoenix police.
Trystan Benallie, 28, and Martin Louis, 23, were both shot and killed around 7:15 a.m. Monday in the 2200 block of East Beardsley Road, police said.
Steven Love-Mason, 27, who was formerly in a relationship with Benallie, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of homicide, criminal trespass and other charges.
Love-Mason is currently in custody at the Maricopa County Jail. Bond information was not immediately available.
The shooting happened after Love-Mason came to Benallie's home Monday morning and asked a neighbor to knock on the door for him, police said.
When the door opened, police accuse Love-Mason of forcing his way inside and shooting Benallie and Louis. They were both pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Love-Mason fled the scene, but police later found and arrested him in Tempe.
