United Boys Girls Clubs, Camp Whittier is looking to hire for the following positions at camp; Housing Available. SITE COORDINATOR CAMP AIDE MAINTENANCE COOK Below are some of the responsibilities/Duties for each job. Site Coordinator- Some responsibilities/duties include: Assist with the daily operations of Camp Whittier with the primary concern for facilities management, retreats, rentals, service delivery, assisting in supervision and training of staff, user group administration, and building community and client relations. Occasional weekend and evening shifts. Camp Aide- Some responsibilities/duties include: • Clean cabins, lodges, bathrooms, dining hall, kitchen, and the like according to health code standards; Replace and/or stock soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. Help in the kitchen Maintenance- Some responsibilities/duties include: Key Job Responsibilities: • Repair buildings and facilities (make major and minor repairs as needed) • Paints or stains building exteriors and interiors • Maintains shop, maintenance yard, and equipment related to building maintenance and other related duties in safe and sanitary condition. Kitchen Cook- Some responsibilities/duties include: Key Job Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the daily operations of the camp’s food service. a. Prepare and cook food as the menu indicates utilizing frying, boiling, broiling, steaming, roasting of meat, poultry, seafood, fish, vegetables, salads, soups, and gravies Qualifications for most positions: • A high school diploma or its equivalent or two years of experience in a facility and site maintenance, construction, or grounds keeping business. • Valid and current driving license. • Cleared background check/drug screen
