Description
Juvenile male Sandfire Morph Bearded dragon - Healthy, eating well, loves to ride around on your shoulder!
Asking $200, I have some starter light bulb holders, a ceramic heat and basking bulb, food and a small tank that can go with him for a little extra if needed, but I would highly recommend upgrading to a larger tank ASAP - front-opening ones work best.
Bearded Dragons need a heat source (ceramic heat emitters work best, as the bulbs are easy to replace and do not emit light, yes they CAN see the red light from 'nighttime' bulbs and it can disrupt their sleep patterns), and a good source of UVB light mimicking sunlight. These need to be specifically designed for desert, not tropical, reptiles as desert reptiles need much stronger UVB than tropical.
Bearded dragons are omnivores - as adults they mostly eat vegetation (butternut squash, cut up into tiny chunks, is a favourite! They will also lose their minds for blueberries) but the young eat largely insect diets. Dubia roaches are the best protein source for them, and are MUCH better than crickets due to being meatier and having a lot less chitin. Mealworms should only be offered occasionally, waxworms rarely due to their fat content.
