Job description Florexpo/Kendal Floral, the largest importer of fresh-cut floral products in the United States, is looking for an experienced Receiver for in Carlsbad, CA. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Unloads and receive Miami inbound trucks, check temperatures, count boxes. Tracks all arriving truck information (quantities received, quality of product, time of arrival, etc.) to ensure accurate information regarding product quality. Accurately sorts all third-party product for Kendal by grower. Maintains control of product received for inventory control purposes. Maintains control and report inventory aging to avoid internal shrink within the company. Receives Kendal boxes, accepts POs, print and paste labels from Web Flowers for Florexpo boxes Consolidates by product. Ensures all products moving to production are scanned out of inventory. REQUIREMENTS: MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN REFRIGERATED WORK ENVIRONMENT 35 DEGREES. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 50 LBS. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am Sundays and Mondays OFF MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVERTIME AND WEEKENDS WHEN NEEDED MUST BE ABLE TO WEAR A FACE MASK We offer medical, dental and life insurance as well as 401(k) Plan with a company match.
