If you come to meet Lola, this happy, energetic girl will be so excited to greet you, jumping up and hoping to give you kisses. She is a mommy with puppies, so she'll prefer that you don't bother them. She'll just want you to go off and snuggle with her. In return for belly rubs, she'll give you more kisses. Now in foster care, this outgoing, playful girl is having fun chewing her bones and toys, playing fetch with a tennis ball and going for walks, hikes and runs. She's eager to go on walks, energetically pulling. In the yard, she's busy chasing squirrels, jumping high and trying to climb the tree to catch them (but can't). She may be protective of her puppies with other dogs as she got along well with one dog, but was guarded with another. She loves to wag her tail at her fosters' cat and is never aggressive with her. She is making progress on her house-training, learning to go outside and sharing puppy pads with her babies. And she follows a treat into her crate and is excellent when crated, doing well when her fosters are away. Lola is an athletic girl who will love a home with active parents who can continue her training - and give her cuddles. She's likely to get along well with kids and cats, too. Come meet her.
