We are looking for a highly motivated individual who would love to join our experienced team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience in multifamily housing maintenance field for a minimum of 1 year. This person will be able to perform most duties listed below as the general job description.
Provide first-class customer service to our residents and vendors. Handling issues/repairs promptly and professionally.
Consistently maintain highest quality of workmanship, communication, personal appearance, organization and reporting.
Experience in some of the following is preferred: plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, replacing fixtures, trouble-shooting appliances, repairing appliances, HVAC, carpentry, snow removal, pool maintenance and motivation to learn more in these fields or general maintenance skills as needed.
Identify and react to situations that could potentially cause a safety or fire hazard or any other liability to the property or management company.
Organizational skills needed for maintenance shop and tools for tasks as well as paperwork for our resident's service requests.
Assist Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all necessary maintenance materials are on site as needed, inventoried and kept in good working condition.
Participate in prompt & effective snow removal as needed to ensure safety and minimize liability claims.
Constant maintaining of property appearance including cleanliness of all common areas, stairwells, exteriors, basements, grounds and landscaping.
Work independently as well as with a team towards our common goals.
Must be able to work with deadlines to flip/turn apartments-to make ready for our new residents by move in date.
On-call; can rotate often, need to be available after hours to assist with resident and property emergencies.'
