NW Fleet currently has 3 openings for experienced heavy duty trailer technicians at our Troutdale shop location. We are offering up to a $5000.00 hiring bonus for qualified technicians. This is a full time position. Minimum one year experience as a heavy duty trailer mechanic required. Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on semi-trailers and dollies. Troubleshoot and work with air brakes, ABS, suspensions and electrical systems. Perform welding and fabrication on steel, stainless and aluminum. Complete all body repairs on semi-trailers including repairing or replacing side panels, roofs, headers and frame rails. Repair and replace roll up doors and swing doors. Maintain daily work records on all repairs performed. Have good communication skills and be able to work independently and as a team member.
