Sr. Maintenance Supervisor 40 hours/week - Plainview, NY AHRC Nassau provides support to over 2,200 people throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Our organization partners with a family of organizations including Brookville Center for Children’s Services, Citizens Options Unlimited and Advantage Care Health Centers. We are currently seeking a dedicated Sr. Maintenance Supervisor to join our Plainview location. In this vital role, you will: • Direct maintenance staff work and ensure that employees reach weeklymonthly production quotas • Issue directives, responding to problems regarding agency maintenance functions and directing issues to appropriate staff. • Confer regularly with Assistant Director of Facilities to discuss demands and problems related to agency maintenance functions • Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary course of action for repair. • Allocate staffing resources to cover emergency requests • Assume obligation of any Supervisor that is OOO • Coordinate with Supervisors pre-inspection preparation for Fire Marshall inspections • Order/track delivery and installation of all appliances. • Maintain records of all orders, work and inspections • Educate/train staff to ensure that all compliance information is implemented, and agency policy and procedures are followed • Promote favorable appearance of Agency facilities and equipment, ensuring proper functioning We require: • High School diploma or equivalent • Maintenance supervisory experience (including minor trade work repairs). • Strong computer proficiency • Valid NYS driver’s license • Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting of up to 50 lbs.
