Looking to Hire Teachers for a Guitar School!

Meets

Oakland CA

Description

Hello! I have built up a large clientele of music students in the Bay Area and am now expanding the business in the Oakland Area with a dedicated storefront. Guitar teachers wanted! I am very passionate about music and sharing it with the world, and am looking for like-minded teachers. I will be hiring based on a several factors: 1. Good, kind, and responsible personality. Get along well with others. (There's a reason I put this first!) 2. Preferably musicians with at least several years of teaching experience, comfortable with both adults and children. If no teaching experience, explain why you think you would be a good fit. 3. No music degree required, but extra consideration if so. 4. Musicians with professional experience performing and creating music. I think it's important for students to learn from someone with real experience in the music industry. 5. Teaching ability is just as important, if not more important, than musical ability. 6. Ability to teach multiple instruments. 7. Patience for the business to grow. Business will of course start small, but I am confident that it will grow. 8. There will be an interview process, including 1-3 paid trial lessons with a student. 9. How many students/hours you are looking to work. 9. Background check. Please reach out and let me know if you would like to be considered. My goal is to offer a pay rate that you can be proud of. I have worked for other businesses and it's sad how little they pay their teachers. Let's spread our love for music and make a livable income while doing it! Please let me know the following things. I understand if you can't provide all of these immediately, they will not be required for you to reach out. -Name. -Age -Where you live. -Instrument(s). -A little about yourself. -Resume (professional and/or musical). -Describe your approach to Teaching. -Links to where I can hear/see you play. -Letters of Recommendation from employers or clients (you can send this at a later date as well). -Anything else you would like me to know about you. -How many hours are you looking to work? I'd rather you give an honest answer to this. I am totally open to whatever you are comfortable with. Thanks
