Arya Needs a New Home

Description
Our family is seeking a new home for our 5yr old dog Arya. According to where we adopted her as a puppy, she's a German Sheppard mix. We're not certain what she's mixed with, but we believe it's possibly Kelpie. Arya is very well-trained and highly intelligent. She is a good listener and knows all kinds of commands such as sit, lay down, stay, shake, turn around, go to bed, kennel-up and more. She also knows a number of fun tricks that our daughter has taught her. In addition, she's extremely loyal and loving to her people. She will gladly take any and all affection offered and will cuddle up with you on the couch or in bed. We're going to be spending a couple of years overseas and are sadly unable to take her with us. We would love to, but we'll be living in an apartment that isn't suited for dogs. We will also be jumping from country to country, so finding the necessary dogsitter every time would be very difficult. Arya is crate trained and can spend multiple hours in a crate with no problem. That said, my wife and I both work from home and we know that she'd be terribly lonely if left alone frequently for long periods of time... she loves and needs companionship. The ideal situation would be with someone who works from home or is retired. A home without kids would also be best. If you do have kids, she'll be protective and loving towards them. You'll just want to be sure they don't run by her, try to take her toys or put their hands near her food while she's eating. We are also looking for a home that has room for Arya to run and play outside. And most of all, someone who is very loving with their dog and would benefit from giving and receiving all kinds of joy from this very special girl. Lastly, Arya is a great home intruder alert dog. Nobody will enter your property or knock on your door with her alerting you. It's been very nice knowing that we can sleep soundly with a dog in the house who has our back. We are going to be very diligent about re-homing Arya and will require an in-home visit plus a check-in after 2 weeks to see how it's going. If she's not working out for any reason after 2 months, we will gladly take her back and find her another permanent home that's a right fit. This is going to be especially difficult for my daughter and wife who have a special connection with Arya. Finding the right home is super important to us. A re-homing fee of $150 includes everything you need including a bed, crate, toys, food/water bowls, etc. She is spayed, chipped and vaccinated. If after reading this you think your home might be a fit, please email, text or call me :)
