We need to rehome our two green cheek conures due to family changes. They are under a year old. They are healthy and beautiful. Since they are young, they are still working on taming. They are both sweet and love people. One is very friendly and steps up nicely and flies to you, while the other is shy and prefers not to be touched but still loves people and loves to take treats. They are quiet most of the time. There is a rehoming fee to insure good home. They are bonded to each other and must stay together but not for breeding- Pets only! They will come with their nice new cage and all their food and accessories. NOT A GOOD PET FOR KIDS. Conures and all parrots are a high maintenance pets and require as much work and time, if not more, than a dog. They live longer than dogs. They are a great family pet and are great with kids (once they are tame) but they need to be cared for by an adult or entire family. And they can bite, HARD! If you’re looking for a pet for a child to care for on their own- this is not a good option. Speaking from experience. It’s possible they may need to be separated to two cages at some point but it’s important to me that they stay in the same “flock” for life.
