Be a Conversion Technician ***No Previous Experience Required. We will train you.*** It's amazing how there can be a sports event on one day and then the very next day that same place puts on a concert. Ever wonder how they make that happen? There's really a lot going on behind the scenes. It is the Conversion Tech's responsibility to assist with the day-to-day conversion operations to ensure accurate, timely, and demanding completion of conversions between events, including but not limited to concerts, basketball games, Ice events, mixed martial arts, boxing and family shows. For many, it is their first job in the entertainment industry and these shows cannot happen without their dedication. Duties Include: Set and strike staging, risers, chairs, bleachers, house drapes, portable flooring, boxing rings, etc. Work with conversion staff on all other conversion related duties as requested and/or assigned. Physical requirements are: Ability to consistently walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist. Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 75lbs. or more. Other Requirements: Must possess an OSHA 10 General Industry card within 2 weeks of employment. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Excellent customer service skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent. Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. Experience in conversions or a related field is a plus.
