Description

The mover/warehouse associate is responsible for assisting in the receiving, delivery, staging, and assembly of office furniture at customer sites in various locations around the greater Seattle area. The mover/warehouse associate is the first and last point of contact for the customer in the production process and contributes to the goal of providing the highest level of quality, customer service and satisfaction. Duties and responsibilities • Receive and/or deliver systems furniture and related materials to various customers sites o Load and/or unload trucks at designated loading docks o Place furniture safely and accurately per customer request o Lift 50-100 lbs. routinely • Build and assemble necessary components of systems furniture o Build chairs, tables, desks, peds, as well as other office furniture components using basic hand and power tools o Effectively read and utilize blueprints • Promote and represent company professionally and effectively, both on and off job sites o Proficiently work in warehouse environments as well as live office settings with customers present • Follow and promote all state/federal/company/customer required safety protocols Qualifications • Previous moving/warehouse/assembly experience (preferred) • Diploma/GED • Vehicle (reliable transportation) • Basic hand and power tools (drill) o Knowledge of basic hand and power tools • Ability to lift/move 50-100 lbs. routinely • Exemplary customer service in various workplace settings (i.e. warehouse, office) • Professional appearance – clean clothes, good hygiene, well-kept facial hair Additional Qualifications: • Effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and management • Evaluate processes and employees – find areas for improvement • Implement strategies that contribute to the continued growth of the company and employees • Ability to teach, lead, motivate and adapt to various situations
