Sugarshots Band seeks VARIETY Bass Player

Sugarshots is presently auditioning variety bass players in the central Florida area. Sugarshots is a new rock/top 40/variety 4-5pc band featuring the talented Deserea Sullivan on vocals, Gary B on guitar/vocals, Dave Lauber (me) on e-drums, and we rotate between backing tracks and a couple of keys players depending on the gig at hand. We are not playing often YET because of lineup changes (we are not settling on anyone who doesn't do the work). The goal of Sugarshots is to quickly become a top contender in the variety band world playing higher-paying gigs, private parties and corporate events all over Florida and possibly beyond. We are not interested in playing the same old smokey bars and clubs like a local rock band. We will charge more than your average bar band and rarely, if at all, play smoking venues. Here is a short list of expectations if you're interested: 1) Must be able to learn your parts at home BEFORE rehearsals 2) Professional, upbeat attitude...we will be a class act 3) Pro gear, dependable transportation and be on time to gigs and rehearsals 4) NO HEAVY DRINKERS, PERIOD! One per set is acceptable depending on the venue 5) Must be able to learn quickly across multiple genres such as Rock, R&B, Reggae, Motown, Top 40, Country, Funk, etc... 6) Must be able to communicate in a prompt manner The band is organized. We have everything we need to be a success except YOU! This is a very FUN band with cool people, so personality is important. We do not have a bunch of shows on the books, but only because we've been rebuilding and are now rebuilding again. I do have the ability to bring a band to success as I have done with ThunderJack AC/DC Tribute, just as one recent example. I form nothing but top acts, and this one will be no different. This demo video is from a paid rehearsal we did for a NYE gig we have on the books. It was basically our first show with present lineup and will only get tighter. Our present bass player is staying on for the NYE show but has put in his notice for after.
