Green Mountain Valley School (GMVS), an independent boarding and day school, located in Waitsfield, Vermont, is seeking either a full or part-time maintenance technician to join our Facilities Department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing routine maintenance and repairs of our buildings and grounds, general cleaning, trash and snow removal, and daily upkeep of buildings and campus facilities. Successful candidates will be team-oriented, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be organized, reliable, and flexible. Qualified candidates will have some prior experience in maintenance, and cleaning and/or landscaping. A valid driver’s license and an ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs. is required. Generally, this position will maintain a Monday-Friday schedule, but flexibility is key, so some availability for occasional weekends and evenings would be great.
