Ryder Warehouse Associate FULL-TIME $16.50/hr 320 Dultys Ln, Burlington Township, NJ 08016 Job Duties • Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers. • Manually load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner. • Pick products in a warehouse environment in order to assemble customer orders • Stage and segregate product in designated areas • Communicate with fellow employees for safe transport of goods throughout the warehouse • Maintain an expected work pace and meet minimum productivity guidelines • Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel • Ability to operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards. • Read and understand assembly instructions to assist in assembling of various furniture • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent • Ability to operate powered pallet jack safely and efficiently. • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules • Ability to identify and locate a product that requires reading and counting • Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions • Ability to work with minimum supervision • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs About Ryder Last Mile: Ryder Last Mile, part of the Ryder Corporation, is a final mile delivery service of big and bulky items such as furniture, appliances, exercise equipment, and electronics.
